Who We Are
SOMOS Latinx Literary Magazine strives to cultivate a supportive space of expression for Brown and RISD’s Latinx students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as the greater Providence Latinx community. We hope to uplift our community’s explorations of heritage and individuality through a celebration of their art and creativity.
Our publication promotes a dialogue which centers Latinx cultures, histories, and intersecting identities — especially those relating to Indigeneity, Blackness, migration, and queerness.
Our History
With a lineage extending across decades, SOMOS Latinx Literary Magazine is one of Brown University’s oldest student magazine publications.
